Game Changer

You know what changes everything?

Googly eyes.

I remember thinking as a child that googly eyes, pipe cleaners and those little chickens that look like their made from large-diameter pipe cleaners were incredibly expensive and that's why we never had them.  It was only as an adult that I learned that you can get a package of pipe cleaners for a $1.  I just bought 500 googly eyes for $7.99 or something.  I know what you're thinking.  What could you possibly do with 500 googly eyes?

Well we made valentines.

And we already made these.

And we will be doing this all around town.

I can hardly wait.

  2. Ahahahaha! I LOVE the last picture! Max at 2.5 is also WAY into googly eyes every since I bought a small bag for making hand turkeys at Thanksgiving. We recently discovered giant salad-plate-sized ones stuck on a refrigerator by the cash register at our local Ace Hardware. He can't stop talking about them. I love that his definition of the verb "to google" is quite different from general recent usage, as in "Those eyes, they were googling to much!"

  3. Also, suggestion: we recently made a new friend for Max out of a rock he found outside, by sticking two googly eyes on it. He is in love.
